All Around Pet Care

I had an appointment today to get my Pomeranian cut. It was his first time haircut so I was pretty excited about it. I was told to come in between 9 am and 10 am. The groomer called at 9:30 am and said he was cancelling our appointment because his other two 8 am's did not show up! I said I was really counting on him getting cut today and we would be there soon. He said he was almost home and could we re-schedule. I did NOT appreciate this and found it to be very inconsiderate and unprofessional. I will not be re-scheduling with this salon.

This place had done a great job on him last time, so I thought to call them up and see if he could come to in the next day for service. Looked them up on the trusty nets, and called the number. Below is my experience:



*phone rings about 8-10 times before a pick up, I really don't mind because I understand they must be busy*



Provider: Hello, All Around Pet Care

Me: Hello! I was wondering if I could bring in my dog tomorrow?

Provider: Ok, what's the name?

Me: Ace

Provider: Hello?

Me: *confused because I can hear perfectly fine* Hello? Yes?

Provider: Who are you?!

Me: Um...Genesis Blanco? *still confused because I can hear her fine and add to the confusion for the sudden inquiry of my name*

Provider: HELLO?! Hold on...

*some random ruffling sounds*

Me:....

Provider: Hello?! *now she sounds far off*

Me: Hello? *talking a bit louder so she could hear me*

Provider: What's the name?! *still sounds far off, so I think she put on speaker phone*

Me: *thinking that I should try to be loud so she can hear me over the dogs in the background, I try speaking loudly and slowly* ACE

Provider: *sounding upset* There's no need to get upset at me and yell!

Me: *profusely confused because I was not upset at all during this, just thought that if I spoke louder, she would be able to hear me better since it sounded like I was on speaker phone and the dogs barking in the background were making it harder for her to hear me* Um...I am not upset at all! I was jus-

Provider:*cuts me off as I was trying to explain what was going on* No! You're upset and yelling at me! I know this was frustrating, but you don't have to yell!

Me: I really was not-

Provider: *cuts me off again* Yes you were!! You don't need to yell over-

Me: *hang up*



This was my experience. It was All Around Confusing, and, to be honest, thought it was rude of her to cut me off as was trying to explain a miscommunication. I do not know if the person was having a bad day, but having experience in the customer service field, this was the worst way possible to handle this type of scenario. I, in turn, was not going to stay on the line with someone that would not listen to what I was saying, kept cutting me off, and kept giving me attitude over my supposed anger.



Did they do a good job on Ace when I brought him in the first time? Yes

Will I be taking him back here for any services and spend my hard earned money? Absolutely NO!

I have taken my dog there for the past few months and am very impressed. Just when I do no think my dog will be any whiter or cleaner I pick him up from All Around Pet Care. The staff are very friendly and you can really tell that they care about dogs and love what they do. I give them two thumbs up.

This is a 5 star establishment. I bring my dog there to be pampered. Jamie's the best groomer and the staff is very friendly. You can tell they love dogs and it shows. You won't go wrong by using All Around Pet Care.
