Libby Elem School

Libby is a "Schools To Watch School". Libby is open from 7-6:15 every day and the summer for the Y summer camp program. Several partnerships that the current staff has fostered with non-profit organizations and businesses affords Libby to provide more programming than most schools. Libby's art program is taught by a National Board Certified Teacher. The Y provides dance, drama, choir, drum line, after school tutoring, several sports programs, ballroom dance, the community food bank, and snack bags for it's students and families. Libby also has service learning programs, environmental education programs,sports and nutrition education programming through Urban Initiatives, book gifts to students, beautification programs sponsored by Starbucks and other non-profit organizations, video making and editing using the Adobe Youth Voice Program, advisory classes, snowboarding, girl and boy scouts, and several others. Libby is a beacon of hope and safety in the community. KEEP IT OPENED!
