Four Seasons Hotel Chicago

I stayed in chicago for a week. I spoiled myself and decided to stay at a different 4star or above everynight. Hyatt, International, crown plaza, holiday inn, and aloft. All beautiful and plush. Then I finished up my last night at the whitehall... BIG mistake. It was a good location, but the only thing luxury was the bed and the bathroom. The elevator was so old, you could only fit 4 people at a time and it moaned and groaned the whole way. I at one point stepped into the elevator and it dropped 6inches. Very scary. The halls smell like old people and are very narrow. The TV in the room was older than me. 5min after i got in my room I was getting settled in. I hear a knock on the door. I go to awnser and a black lady just walked into my room. I said "can i help you" she very rudley replied she had to check the mini bar, i told her i just checked in, she walked past me. My boyfriend, who is black, was sitting in the chair. She stopped and looked my bf up and down and gave him a dirty look as if to say "what are you doing with this white girl" then locked my minibar and walked out slamming the door. No thank you or enjoy your stay. Then i checked out and they told my 3 days to take the hold off my credit card deposit. Today is the third day and they still havent. Don't waste your money. this place might have been a 4 star in 94, but definatly NOT in 2010.
