FitPro West

This is the first review I have ever written on any business....i just never bothered to.....but after this incident....... I just felt compelled to share.......recent transplant to Chicago and was looking for a local gym. Walked into fitpro west and was greeted and taken care of by a nice lady Karen - who no longer works there.......first month was great.....good service, friendly people, good atmosphere....all fine and dandy.....but.....certain circumstances came about, which rendered me to cancel my membership...the next month.....this is where the trouble started......I was charged a full month....even though I never used the gym because of a "30day cancellation" policy....fine....my fault........then I get charged again......the next month and when I called Carsten to speak to him......he was very rude.....says a 30day cancellation is what our policy is....you do what you have to do......if I kept returning money....I would be out of business.........
I hate to say it.....but this was not a good experience.......the gym is fine, staff was nice.....even Carston was nice at first....... but the lack of understanding regarding situations and circumstances for their customers is NOT.........especially when its the owner........best wishes to you, if you feel this is how you run a business.....
