El Ranchito Restaurant

THE BEST Hispanic Restaurant in the Avondale neighborhood! This is authentic Mexican food, plus they have a few other, non-ethnic choices on their menu. El Ranchito in Avondale is clean, cozy and family-oriented for eating in, and their delivery is very fast and dependable, always arrives hot and delicious. They are also open very late, for dine-in, carry-out, and delivery. They will make your food to order, just let them know what you want!

The staff speaks English and Spanish, and are very friendly and accomodating.

Compared to restaurants I've been to in neighboring Logan Square, Avondale's El Ranchito is more economical, better-quality, and friendlier than any Hispanic restaurant I've been to.

The food is good, the horchata is great and the waitresses are beauitful :D

I give this place five stars because their menu is ridiculously huge and full of surprises, not to mention the cheap prices. Oh yeah, and they deliver until 5AM on Saturday. Yeah. Five. I've only ever gotten deliveries, and I've never been disappointed with the speed. The food is piping hot when I get it, and I have a hard time not burning my mouth while inhaling it.



If you stay up late on the weekend and need any conceivable form of American fast food or tasty Mexican dishes, this is your place.

This place is great. Cheap, yet pretty tasty food with Great size portions. It is not always the top of the line kinda eats, but sooooo good and inexpensive. Great for morning after-lunch. Great for a late night drink. Great for an amusing mariachi band from time to time.

This place is awesome. This place is a pretty typical Mexican joint, but they have a huge selection: all the Mexican classics, breakfast, pizza/ american food, and they also have and Italian menu. They have ridiculous drink specials that are definitely worth it. On Thursdays they have margaritas for $1.50!!!! WHAT!!!?!? They are legit too. My go-to neighborhood spot.

I really love this restaurant. I have ordered from here so many times i can't even count. U guys food is so good. I just love it so much.

This place was awesome! It is very rare that I order take out and NOTHING was forgotten or messed up. Im a picky eater and they impressed me! Its also a plus that they deliver late and have a lot on the menu to choose from.

I've never actually eaten in the restaurant. Instead, I've mainly used the delivery service which is excellent. They have always been extremely prompt, the delivery people have been polite, and the food has always been good. I will say the guacamole is a little inconsistent (great some days, less flavorful others) but that's just the sign of fresh food. The steak tacos are consistently awesome, and the refried beans are just like I used to get in northern Mexico. Excellent food, GREAT delivery hours, and good service make this a great deal and place to eat.

Love this place for delivery! Who would think a place that has Italian and Mexican would be so good and cheap!

Great tacos,fajitas, tamales, whole deep fried fish and menudo. Delivery menu is huge, but lots of great plate specials, ie mixed tacos etc. they wrap all condiments individually and with care.

Got a brochure on my fence , and so glad I gave hem a try!

wow, I can't believe all of the negative reviews....my neighbor and I cam across this restaurant on grub hub for delivery and couldn't believe how inexpensive they were.



After we ordered about half the menu, the food came in less than an hour and the bill was only $35!



I loved everything, except maybe the nachos. El Ranchito has been my go-to delivery ever since!



I'm craving it now:)
