Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Center

Our journey started several years ago. My mom needed hearing aids and we thought we'd try Miracle Ear, since it was close to home. The people at Miracle Ear are very friendly, but that's about it. After my mom got her hearing aids, it felt like we were back there every month for adjustments. The hours weren't great and we ended up switching to another Miracle Ear that was a little further away. We should have walked away before then. She was able to hear pretty well for the first few months and then they didn't work very well. They told her they would provide her with batteries. Anyone with hearing aids knows you'll go through a lot of batteries. They didn't keep up their promise of the batteries. They always had excuses why they couldn't give her more. The hearing aids are expensive and not worth it. Fast forward to last month. We went to a real hearing aid place and when her hearing aids were looked at, the response was, "How long have you had these? 10 years?" My mom and I looked at each other and said they were only about 3 years old. The audiologist said "They are a K series, which means they're about 10 years old." How can Miracle Ear sell us something 3 years ago that was already 7 years old??? Also, they gave my mom an earmold, which always bothered her. The new audiologist did an earmold for my mom (which meant it was impression of her ear) and he said "Your mom must've had this done before." No, no she didn't. He looked at me and asked, "Did they just pull it out of a drawer and hoped it fit her?" Why, yes, that's exactly what Miracle Ear did!!! Buyer beware! Stay away from ALL Miracle Ear sites!!!!
