McCarthy Tire & Automotive Centers

Having worked for many Dealerships in the great Charlotte area, and having been an Insurance Adjuster for many years, I know when people are honest or not. I was recommended to this shop my my CPA. When I I needed my car inspected, I knew it would not pass due to the brake light on the dash being on. They could have changed me for any 'fix.' The mechanic told me it just needed sone brake fluid-no charge! My car passed inspection, and I since been back for brakes, but told I still have many thousands of miles to go, again no charge. I'll tell anyone how great this shop is!

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like these guys deserve it. I took my car in for new brakes only to be told I have another 25-30,000 miles left on my current pads. Most places would have just charged me the $ and moved on, but these guys were honest about it, thus earning a customer for life. I'm glad they are right outside my neighborhood! Lucky me! Definatley would reccomend to anyone! It's hard to find good, honest mechanics in today's world, but I feel like I have with these guys!

McCarthy tire is pretty cool and I will be going back.

I came in with a simple request and willing to pay for the work done. I needed my Full size spare tire to be used to replace a near bald tire. The spare is located under my car. to get to the spare you need to open the hatch, The hatch is broken. I asked if I could access it through the inside? I was told NO the you MUST open the rear hatch to access the spare. He then tells me all he can do would be to place a brand new tire on my car for $100. Not able to pay that amount for a car I will only have for two more weeks.. . I went home and googled my car to find out the release was right in the back seat. I had no problem doing it my self!!! Thanks for NOTHING!!!!! I am glad I am not the sucker You thought I was! Save your time and MONEY go somewhere ELSE!!!
