Lin's Buffet

Great buffet, with a hibachi grill, dessert, seafood, sushi, and a variety of traditional and not so traditional Chinese buffet fare. Everything looked fresh and everything I ate was very good. Sushi included tuna, white tuna, salmon, shrimp, and crab nigiri, plus six different kinds of rolls. On the bar they had peel and eat shrimp, craw fish, crab legs, coconut shrimp, fish, and crab stuffed mushrooms. Black pepper chicken was fantastic, and so was the pineapple pork. For $10, I am impressed. I went at 6:30 on a Thursday and the place was about half full. There is a $2 off coupon on their website also.

I ate here when they first opened a few years back, the food was bland and the service was not good as well. I ate there with my husband who works in the area and we met there for his lunch break.



There was a moderate amount of people inside with it being lunch time and most places have a big lunch time rush. I won't say it was full, but there was a good sized crowd inside.



The hostess was friendly enough, but once we were seated, thats when I started having the problems. After having to wait forever for the tea and lemonade we ordered to drink, our server rarely came back for refills or anything else.



Once we fixed our plates, we found that the food was bland and did not taste good. They had a small buffet for the price you pay for it, and although they had a decent sushi bar, it was extra and not incuded in the price of the buffet.



Once we had enough and were ready to go, we had to flag our server down, and once she saw she was not getting a tip, looked at us nastily and walked off without so much as a "have a nice day, or anything.



We informed the hostess that the food was not good, and she looked surprised, but quickly forgot about us as the next customers came in and wanted to be seated.



Me and my husband walked out still hungry, because we managed maybe 2 plates of food, and almost 20 bucks short becuase of it



A year or so later, we decided to give this place another try, only to find the food still bland, but the service somewhat better. But I wouldn't reccommned this place on service alone, because the taste of the food alone would keep anyone from returning. That was my last trip there and I can truly say in this case, I was once bitten, and twice shy, but it won't be a 3rd time!
