Integra Staffing

I agree with this review. And I don't see any positive recent positive reviews. The good reviews are dated 2007-2008. :(



After submitting my resume to Integra, they called me in for an interview.



I wound up meeting with a girl in their sister company (Bankston) that specializes in staffing financial positions (which I have no background or particular interest in). The girl chatted with me for about 15 minutes, took my paperwork and said she'd run a background check.



The following week she called me back to discuss a temp job that seemed "perfect" for me and asked me to come in that same day to speak with the account manager.



I arrived professionally dressed and on time. I was kept waiting 20 minutes even though there was no one else in the waiting room and I didn't hear the phones ringing or see anyone leaving - very quiet! So, I doubt there was a good reason for them to keep me waiting.



The end result was a waste of my time and gas driving there.



A guy mumbled lame questions about my past history based on my resume that I already answered the previous week and barely mentioned the position that I came about and made vague references to other positions.



On my way out, the girl that called me in said that if I don't hear from her in two weeks, to call her! Of course, I never did but I waited about a week and then registered a complaint with her alleged supervisor.



I learned that she had only been working there a couple of months and was fresh from college and had no background in recruiting or H.R. She is a wannabe news reporter! I doubt she'll be working there in another six months and is useless.



I didn't bother to get the name of the annoying account manager that couldn't speak a full sentence without mumbling but he was equally unimpressive.

With open positions being few and far between one would think Staffing agencies would use this time to prequalify all people looking for employment. There are many unemployed workers who have lots of experience that cannot justifibly be listed on 1-2 pages. If Integra is waiting for a postion request they may loose the business due to waiting on the right candidate. Prequalification allows you to fill the postions instantly. Maybe Integra has more business than they need. Good for them.
