Green Tomato Home Cooking Buffet

I pass this place 2x a day going to work. Ate there finally last 06/13/2009 for a late lunch. Kinda was skeptical at first but what the heck. I read some reviews that the place was good so I had to try it out myself. Place is not that big and food selection was fair. I liked there vegetables. The fried chicken I got was kinda cold didn't finish it. I can't say the food was excellent let's just say it's fine and managable. I didn't like the idea that my daughter who ate 3pcs. of jello, some corn and watermelon had to pay. She is just 4yrs old. 45lbs and under 4ft tall. I think children under five years old should eat for free. There were 2 adults, 1 child and 3 drinks ordered and we paid $26.46 that's not including tip. The establishment is open tuesday to sunday 11:30am to 8pm and the have different varieties in there menus everyday. I would reccommended this restaurant just because you could go back for seconds compared to if you pay for a set lunch or dinner somewhere else, and the food is not that bad. And since there are no other restaurants/buffets around this area this is a good alternative.
