Slow service 2 different sodas tasted like seltzer water. I have noticed it's gotten worse over the years. Food wasn't what I ordered just horrible

I wish I could do a negative star rating! my 16 year old daughter took me out to dinner for my birthday and this was the worst experience. Her hamburger was raw! It was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen!. The hostess, Pam, was not apologetic at all, but proceeded to justify the condition of the food. She stated that "our burgers are cooked medium well" The burger was pink at the edges and completely raw in the middle! My daughter is sick as a result of the horrible condition of the food! We initially starting going to Cheddar's in Charlotte, NC about 4 years ago and the service and food has drastically declined over the last three times that we have visited. Because the service and food has been so terrible, the time span between visits has been over a two year period. This was the absolute last straw! We will not be going back ever!

While visiting Charlotte NC we visited this Cheddars restaurant. We have always enjoyed Cheddars but not this time! The service was slow and the waitress acted distracted and uninvolved in those she was serving. The food sat under the heat lamp for way too long and came out warm (not hot) the chicken tortilla soup was glorified tomato soup with no chicken in it and no Mexican flavor whatsoever. The coffee tasted burnt as well. After speaking with a manager his excuse was that he had replaced someone who had not done a good job and he was in the process of fixing the problems. Yet he did not offer to 'fix' ours. I finally asked him to take the coffee off of our ticket. He obliged but he should've offered to take the coffee and the soup off of our ticket. This location needs some major improvements. I recommend to NOT visit this Cheddars!!

Cool place to spend time with family, friends, or have a first date. Pleasant employee's. Great drinks!! so visit the bar. The meals are great tasting and the prices can not be beat.

I have been here a few times and had great food every time. It's located in the University area. They serve t he great croissants with their meals. Try it, you won't be sorry you did.
