Really? From start to finish of the crown was painful. I had No pain before this procedure. A piece of the enamel had broken off at the top of the existing tooth, so the doctor said I needed a crown. I currently have a couple of crowns, but this was the most painful dental procedure I have ever experienced and with a lack of caring that I was in a lot of pain even with anesthesia during the prep procedure for the temporary crown. The gum was still very sore during the permanent crown procedure and they also had a hard time removing the temporary crown which really intensified the pain. They had to give me anesthesia again, which also wore off before they were finished. I told them I could feel it, but they shrugged me off and said sometimes the patient has to endure a little pain. (If only It had been a little pain). Very Rough Gum treatment. It has been almost 3 months and the gum under the crown is still not completely healed.
