In operation since 1983, Shattuck Shelter offers support solutions for more than 100 homeless men and women. The organization provides overnight emergency shelter, housing search, on-site medical care, and mental health and substance abuse assessment, treatment and referral services. It also offers opportunities to participate in a selection of community recreation programs. Shattuck Shelter administers the Transition to Work Program. In addition, the organization provides support to access public benefits. It offers assistance for guests who are struggling with addiction, legal, financial, mental health and physical issues, as well as food, clothing and counseling solutions. Shattuck Shelter is managed by hopeFound, which is a nonprofit organization.
