Charleston Area Medical Center Health System

I wouldnt take my dog to this ER I was liveing in charleston and my 6 month old daughter had a ear infection so I took her here and instead of looking at her as a child and as a baby in pain the Doctor that was on call that night looked at my daughter and said I want to straight cath her to get a sample I told her nothing was wrong with her bladder it was her ears never once did this doctor look in her ears and came back with a cath I told her she wasnt cathing my daughter she was only 6 months old and I was leaveing and the doctor told me that if I walked out she was calling Child Protective Services on me I told her to go right ahead and do that cause she was going to Thomas Memorial and I left takeing her to Thomas and telling them what had happened at Womens and Childrens and the Doctors over there treated my daughter with a double Ear infection and never once cathed her!!!!!!!! I had to give this place a star witch I didnt want to do at all but it was the only way I could get my post on here

Tender loving care is the name of the game in this hosital. The staff is wonderful.
