Theses guys Rock! They had a crazy deal on Groupon so I said why not. Marc is a super funny guy. He explained the problems with me car and didn't force into anything. THIS IS MY SHOP FOR LIFE!!

We had the worst experience with RMS and caution everyone to stay away! We had been going to them for over a year (spending well over 2K there on both of our cars). The customer service was excellent, which led us to overlook the fact that every time we took my car (or my husbands) in to get something fixed we would have go back 1-2 more times before it was actually fixed.

A week after getting my brakes fixed, I was driving down Rt 50 in the rain with my toddler son in the car, when my rear wheel flew off and across 6 lanes of traffic into the woods. We were so lucky that no one was near us on the road and we were able to get over safely without injuries to us or anyone else.

Initially RMS stated that their technician failed to tighten the bolts on my wheel which is why it flew off. When we tried to get them to fix the situation (replace the wheel which was lost in the woods, pay for the tow truck, and the alignment that my car now needed after driving with 3 wheels) they refused and denied any responsibility. They refused to do anything and were extremely unhelpful, cold and rude. I caution anyone from doing any business with them- a groupon or good deal is not worth putting your family's lives at risk. I am so grateful that no one was hurt- it could have been so much worse. Please stay away- extremely unprofessional, do not stand by their work, and have very shoddy business practices (no oversight or supervision of what the technicians are doing and if all safety checks are being performed before returning cars to their owners).

Well first off let me just say RMS is one of the best shops I have been to in the DMV

they do quality work and very nice people overall. Mark the Manager is a wonderful person and is always helpful and always gives me heads up on the things he is doing with my car I recently went to Audi in Tyson’s to get a timing belt quote and they told me $4000 my jaw almost fell off I couldn't believe it and they wanted me to wait 2 weeks before they could even look at my car I couldn't imagine such a big company would have such a long wait time well I called up mark to find out his prices and it was pretty much half the cost at the very end and not only that he had it done in 3 days I was so happy with his work and very much would bring my car back to him. If you are looking for a place that is honest and does a great job head here to RMS trust me you will be happy.

These guy were awesome. Took my Porsche in because some other shop supposly told me that since my brakes were low that it caused a check engine light. Had RMS check they said it was simple a fix. And that the other shop had damaged a sensor i guess while lifting the car. Theses guys rock. Will def. bring my baby back!!! Thanks RMS!!!!!

Seeing the deal of these guy in Groupon, Googling for their reviews 5 Star excellent ASE certified mechanics came up!!! I thought this should be the place to even give them more jobs! I called them to make sure they carry the particular Mobil 1 oil I always use in my car. After a hold on the call the guy on the other side replied "YES" with $35 more at the top of Groupon deal they will use my desired oil which was fine to me to pay $10+$35 for:

Oil change PLUS 120 point Inspection PLUS Tire rotation!!!

I purchased Groupon deal and called this guy for a Saturday appointment. Here is the reply: Already booked for 3 weeks PLUS no Saturday appointments for Groupon customers!!! Still tried to try them made an appointment for 3 weeks later on Friday.

Arriving to the shop give them Groupon voucher asking for the very popular Mobil 1 oil we already agreed on the phone with additional cost, the guy surprisingly replied: we don't carry that oil!!! Offering another French oil for additional $55 or go and cancel the Groupon for refund!!! which I didn't go for! Considering my 25 miles commute I told them to only rotate my tires and perform 120 points inspection on my car. after waiting for another 30 mins observing the funny way these guys perform 120 INSPECTION by checking the underneath of the car only by eyes for any visual defect or issue!!! no checklist like dealers give you the report at the end! The question is the reference of this 120 points not 10 or even 250!!! They can put for their next ad in Groupon 450 POINTS! I see the previous reviews for the same deal that has taken not more than couple of mins for the whole package!!! Is that possible for 120 points inspection+tire rotation and oil change in 10 minutes? At the end the guy promised to send me an estimate on the defects they found on the car within 24 hours, never happened!!!



General Conclusion: The only neath service I received was the tire rotation!!! Never try these unknown Groupon businesses and deals again particularly for the car services unless its your own known mechanics!!!

Makes me (almost) glad the dealer warranty expired! Well, nothing beats free for car servicing/repairs, but the convenience and the service of Edgar and his team make me relieved not to deal with the dealer service centers anymore! The prices for a simple oil change were half what the dealer wants post-warranty, and the courteous and convenient location for me is a huge plus.

I had a minor repair that was done the same day and for a good price.



TWO CONS:

1. Despite my request to be contacted once the needed repair was identified, no one called me during the day to let me know what the problem was or to verify a price before they performed the work.

2. My car was left *unlocked* on the street. Fortunately nothing was taken, but that kind of oversight is inexcusable in my opinion.



Would only come here again for the convenience, since I live nearby.

Edgar is top notch. I went there for brakes, but returned for door problems, oil changes and a leak. He's the type of mechanic you go back to for life.
