Floyd D. Smith, M.D. is a magna cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Virginia Medical School. He was trained in Critical Care and Hospital based Medicine as well as Emergency Medicine. He set up practice in Washington State in 1982 after working for several years in Emergency Departments and Hospitals in North Carolina. After setting up practice, he got further training in Endoscopy (Colonoscopy and Upper Endoscopy), Cardiac Imaging (Echocardiography and Stress Echos), Osteoporosis (DEXA), Hormonal management and supplementation for both Male and Female patients, and Vascular treatment for Chronic Venous Insufficiency (Radio Frequency Ablation). He served as a Bureau Speaker for Merck Pharmaceuticals for Osteoporosis Management and Treatment. He currently has a practice for Adult Medical Care evaluation and treatment. He is also an Instrument rated Single Engine Land and Sea pilot and does FAA 2nd and 3rd Class Physicals. He has a variety of hobbies which include Flying, Aerobatics, SCUBA diving, Mountain Climbing, Motocross, Street bikes, Woodworking, Photography, and Video Production.
