We also provide Saturday hours at our main office in Centennial. We are open from 8:30 to noon for patients from all three offices. We do ask that these appointments be used for acute or urgent illness or injury. If your child has a chronic issue that needs to be addressed, it would likely be better handled by his or her primary care provider during the week.

Dr Marc. has been our sons' doctor since we moved to Parker in 2009. He is very concerned about the health and wellness of our sons. He is very professional, kind and respectful. Our nurses and providers work on health forms and prescription refills every day. We are happy to complete these things for you, but please know that our turn around time can be 2-3 days, particularly when volume is high, like the end of summer when everyone is going back to school. Please keep in mind that in order to complete school forms, your child must be up to date on his or her well child visit. For prescription refills, it may vary on the specific medication or health condition, but we also ask that your child have routine checks with a provider to ensure the medication is working properly. For controlled substances, such as ADHD medication, we do have a special policy which your provider will review with you.

Sciatica
Sciatic Nerve Pain (Serious). Sciatica is pain caused by a pinched nerve in the lower back. Sciatica gives a burning pain in one buttock. The pain shoots into the back of the leg on that side. The most intense pain can be in the lower leg and foot. Leg weakness, numbness or tingling can also occur. A ruptured disk causes the pressure on the nerve. Sciatica is rare in children but common in adults.

I have been working with Greenwood Pediatrics since 2003, and feel so lucky to be here! It is a privilege and a joy to watch my patients and families grow. I am especially excited about helping families get outdoors with their young children-- my husband and I have a lot of experience backpacking and canoeing with our family from early on. I also have a particular interest in asthma, eczema and allergies I grew up in New York State, received a bachelor's degree in English literature from Harvard College, and went to medical school at the University of California San Francisco. I moved to Denver to do my residency at The Children's Hospital, and was fortunate to join Greenwood Pediatrics upon completion of my training. I live in Denver with my husband and two children. In my spare time, I love having adventures with my family in the back-country, reading and playing the piano. I look forward to meeting you and your family
