Overall

Worth the wait, often booke out weeks. Staffed only by Board Certified Dermatologists--you will not see skin PA or Nurse, only a skilled MD. Diagnosed my problem after multiple visits elsewhere on first vist!

Amy Schoening PA-C, MPAS is a certified Physician Assistant practicing in dermatology for the last 16 years. She is board certified by the NCCPA since 2002, previously working in primary care.

Melanie graduated from the University of Kentucky’s Physician Assistant program in 1995 and worked in Psychiatry and Family Medicine until relocating to North Carolina in 2002. She later received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska. She was activated for Desert Storm and served in Colorado as a pharmacy technician. After graduating from UNR, she continued her education and received her nursing degree from Truckee Meadows Community College. As a Registered Nurse, she worked at Washoe Medical Center on the neurology unit and the main operating room. Amy received her Master’s degree from Finch University of Health Science/Chicago Medical School and then moved back to Reno, where she has enjoyed living.
