Dr. Gary Abel does a very thorough exam and explains what he's doing. A wonderful professional, my ophthalmologist for 5 years,
Dr. Gary Abel is a top-notch optometrist who runs his practice as a compassionate patient-based service to those who visit him. He is the only optometrist I will visit for as long as he remains in practice (and I hope that is a good, long time!), and I have to drive 28 miles to his office. If you are in Carson City or the Reno area, consider Dr. Abel for all your glasses and contact lens needs.

Provided by SuperpagesDr Gary and Cindy our family has been going to for years, since the old WalMart days and have followed the ever since, My wife and I have always recomended them for glasses and getting the perscription correct. Unlike some who just get what they think you need, instead of what really works. Dr Abel has always got it right, thanks for letting us see better.

Provided by SuperpagesI have known Dr. Abel and Cindy for years and trust him to do the absolute best job in caring for my eyes. You won't find another optometrist who gives a more personal touch to his practice, so if you really want to know that your doctor knows you and cares about your individual vision needs, you should visit Dr. Abel.

Provided by SuperpagesI have been going to Dr. Abel since around 1998, I havn't had a new optomotrist since. Him and his receptionist Cindy are both very friendly and wonderful people. If you tire of big businesses that get you in and get you out, def. try this place.
