High Ridge Court Apartments

"Luxury living for the progressive community of Carroll, Iowa" Yeah that statement is a big joke! I was told that a lot of young people live in the apartments, NOT TRUE!!! Most of the people that live here are over 65 years old! The kitchen sink is extremely small and I can't even fit a pot under it. There is virtually no storage space, which includes no linen closet. There are not enough windows for sufficient air flow. From my experience with the management, they are not very friendly are nosey. They will share your information with the entire complex. I'm most certain everyone knows where my roommate and I work and how much we make! The old people that live here are particularly nosey. Overall, my experience with this apartment has not been a good one.

There is a lot of space in the one bedroom apartments, however your dining room will most likely have to be in the carpeted area with the living space (don't worry it is 22 feet long) because there is not enough space to have it by the kitchen. Personally not a big deal. One of the draw backs to the place is that the kitchen sink is really small. One of the positives is that there are laundry units in EVERY apartment! Lucile, the manager, is very friendly and tries to accommodate your needs and the needs of the complex. There is no linen closet (I think there was one but they put the washer/dryer there) but there is a small hallway closet (approx 22'' wide). There could definitely be more storage space, I have to cram everything into my closet (approx. 7 feet long with two long shelves on top). The other tenants are very friendly and make great company. Overall a decent place to live!
