Lakeside Veterinary Hospital

The most damning thing about the situation with the greyhounds is the response from the vet clinic. After seeing the pictures (the vets weren't available on Sunday morning to see them in person, before the owner's bathed them), they still insisted that this all happened from Saturday night to early Sunday morning. They also stated that the owner should have paid to have them bathed! I have no clue if these vets are good as veterinarians. I can say that they are obviously not a good boarding facility or even good businessmen. They should have admitted that there was apparently a problem, stated what they would do to prevent this happening in the future, and apologize. Instead they blamed the owners.

I'm disturbed and alarmed by the previous posters. I've been a greyhound breeder for 17 years, and every time I've been away from town, Lakeside has been my puppy boarding house of choice. I am SO thankful for the excellent care my kids have received both from the caregivers and from Dr. Rossin for their regular appointments. Highly recommended.

This business is not a good boarding facility. Two greyhounds were neglected and mistreated there recently and the facility owners refuse to acknowledge their guilt in this situation. The pictures posted above show the greyhound's condition after only two nights. Thank goodness they were not boarded for longer. Please, take your business somewhere else! Boo hiss to Lakeside -- not even a one-star rating!

I've been taking my pets to Lakeside Vet for 21 years. My first time there was an emergency and Dr. Lane saved my Cocker Spaniels life, eleven years later they helped him gently cross the rainbow bridge. Every pet I've had, they've been great with. I have 3 dogs now and one of them is 13 years old and she's been going there since she was abandoned as a 4 week old pup. She has arthritis and a bad heart, but the docs are keeping her pain free and the heart meds keep her playing ball, which she loves! When it's time, I'm sure they will assist her to the bridge.



My daughter takes her pets there, even her rat! My friend has been taking her pets there for over 10 years.

I LOVE LAKESIDE!! I've been going there for years, and I have never received anything but the best care. I would recommend them to anyone!

Just recently brought my dog in for regular seasonal allergies. Rather than just throwing steroids at her like my previous vet, my doctor took the time to explain different options that we can take if the steroid shot didn't work. That was several weeks ago, and my pup is still itch free! Thanks so much to all the staff at Lakeside! Will be coming back (hopefully not too soon ;) )!!!

I have been going to Lakeside for over 5 years and have received the best care. No matter which doctor I see my kids receive the best care and they always remember me and my pets. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants personalized, attentive care!
