Overall

The Plaza Tire on Kingshighway is the biggest scam there is. I will give very specific detail. I took my 1999 Toyota Camry in for a oil change, no more no less, it was very simple. THey then come and tell me that i have a powersteering leak and my rack and pinion is loose which could cause a rattle. I decline any repairs because my powersteering is fine and has been for around a month now that I have had the vehicle after the oil change. I started noticing that my car started vibrating weird around my front left brake, an area I had no problems at all before the oil change.

I decided to take my car to a friends shop to find out why randomly had a vibration and what I found has made me extremely upset. Within 5 minutes my friend found the problem. A bolt the secures my caliper to the caliper housing had been removed. Don't confuse me with saying it fell out, it was perfectly removed. All i had to do was buy a new bolt and screw it back in. For those who haven't worked on their own cars before those bolts don't come out by themselves and if by some extremely odd chance it does unscrew slightly the bolt will snap inside the housing before it will perfectly unscrew itself. At a minimum the housing threads will be damaged which did not happen.

I had heard horror stories from some people before but i decided to see for myself. Add this to the list of people who will never go back to plaza tire and know that this message will be told to as many people as I possibly can.
