The new facility here at Cherokee Animal Hospital in Canton Georgia allows us the ability to provide the same quality service we have always given, but in a much safer, more comfortable and efficient environment. Our previous clinic was a 70 year old house that prevented us from offering the more advanced care our patients deserved. We hope you will be as proud to call us your veterinary home as we are. Our hospital treatment area has the newest technology to provide high quality dental and medical care to all our patients plus the ability to grow with us as we add new services. Digital x-rays and high quality ultrasound allow us to provide better diagnostics and to share this information quickly and easily if needed. Regular exams and discussions ensure your pet stays healthy and helps to catch minor issues before they have a chance to become major problems. These exams should occur once yearly for most pets, but senior patients need to be seen twice yearly. Pets really do age about 7 years for one human year and a lot can change in that amount of time. Most animals hide signs of illness and cannot tell us when they have small aches and pains. For these reasons, illness is often more advanced when signs finally become obvious. Testing allows us to find the cause of many illnesses and catch common diseases earlier, before symptoms begin. With regular testing we can often help our pets live longer, more comfortable lives. The lab on our on site allows us to run many tests quickly and easily. Our pharmacy has most of the medications we recommend so that you do not have to make additional stops.
