Using Arcbazar was a great experience from the beginning to end! The website was easy to use and the communication was excellent. It was remarkable how easy, efficient, and non-time consuming it was obtaining these designs; no taking off work to let them in the house etc. The follow-up from Arcbazar was top-notched.



We had 13 designers from around the world sign up for our kitchen remodeling project and ended up with a total of 6 designs. 3 of these designs provided excellent ideas on how to rearrange our kitchen after knocking down the wall between the dining room and kitchen to open the space up; ideas we would have never thought of! Our first choice ended up being the design submitted from France! We love it! It has a bit of a European feel to it; beautiful, welcoming, cozy, and very functional. After the kitchen is completed, we plan to use Arcbazar again for a basement remodeling project.

My experience with Arcbazar in one word – fantastic! I submitted a design competition for the front room of my small, modern apartment (715 sq ft), with primary focus on the kitchen. I have been plagued by a lack of storage for years, but could not envision how to improve the space myself. I knew it could be better than it is, but I had no idea how much better! I received 15 designs as the result of the competition. There is not a single design that didn’t have something wonderful about it, and having to rank the designs was not easy – they are that good. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning as the submissions came in! From start to finish, the Arcbazar group was helpful, responsive, and prompt – really impeccable from a “client” perspective. In addition, the international community of designers/architects that participate in these competitions is top-notch. This is something that I never thought would be accessible to me as an average person, and that is the beauty of Arcbazar’s concept. As I write this, I am already preparing for my next design competition!

This is a site for “crowdsourcing”. You post your requirements and sketches as detailed as you can, set a timeframe and award amount, then designers from around the world compete for the award. This is a fantastic concept. I had ideas for remodeling my master bathroom and had received a couple of contractor quotes. Before flipping the switch, I wanted to obtain other ideas, or at least validate my design concept. So, I posted a two week competition on arcbazar. I had 10 designers sign up and 5 submitted plans. I received scaled drawings, as well as 3D perspective images on the bathroom. I could not have been happier. Ultimately, with my complicated space, my original design was validated, but I also received a bonus in that the designer to whom I gave the award had designed my WC with a pocket door and shelves. I never would have come up with that thought.

I will definitely use arcbazar again in future for any design, including interior decorating, landscaping etc.
