Caledonia Landscaping and Lawn Care

This man is a horrible nasty nonproffesional business owner. He claims to have 30 years experience as he has for the last 7 years. I believe he makes it up as he goes along. He went out of business as integrity landscape. That's a laugh. Don't trust him.

This company is not allowed to do home improvements . The owner has many judgements against him. Before you hire this company do some research. Look up the owners name an then make up your decision. Do you want to be ripped off on your hard earned money. Go with a company who is well known not a scam artist.

My experience dealing with Caledonia Landscape and Eric Binnart was horrible and no one should have to deal with a contractor like this. He was rude, inept, disorganized, and argumentative. He lost his file with my contract in it and accused me of taking it. We had gone back and forth as to the amount of the contract and after multiple delays on his part due to a variety of ridiculous excuses, he attempted to hold me to a contract for almost $2000 more than we agreed to. Only after I transcribed his voicemails promising to do the work for $4700 and after yelling at me over the phone and in my own yard, accusing me of taking advantage of him, did he agree to continue the work for the quoted price.



After weeks of delays, his crew was completing the work when it was brought to their attention by a village zoning board member that the short “wall” they had built along the sidewalk needed to be set back 2 feet from the sidewalk. Although the zoning code was very clear, he then tried to charge me to move the wall back.



Not only was it extremely difficult and time consuming to deal with him, but the work is less than good. It looks unfinished and unprofessionally done. The space between the sidewalk and the wall looks ridiculous and is going to result in a mess to upkeep. I live in an old house in an old neighborhood where residents take pride in keeping with the feel and look of the neighborhood, and this work stands out like a sore thumb.
