The Dress Boutique at Merle Norman of Burlington

i absolutely loved this boutique, there selection was amazing but also the service was phenomenal. The workers were so nice and they helped me pick out my perfect homecoming dress! sometimes picking out dresses can be stressful and awkward, but i felt completely comfortable and actually enjoyed finding my dress! please check this place out you will not regret it and i will definitely be returning for prom!

I just can’t say enough great things about Merle Norman’s Dress Boutique! The selection of dresses, jewelry, shoes and accessories is truly the best, but most of all the most amazing staff is so kind and helpful! They make each person feel special with the “Say yes to the dress” moment complete with bells and all around cheers. I have purchased two Homecoming dresses as well as a Prom Dress that are all of the highest quality and just special in various ways, all beautiful, but very unique, classy, and elegant! Anna Humphries has helped me every time and she is without question the most supportive and kind sales associate! She has a great sense of style and is just wonderful to work with. She knows the inventory and realizes which dresses work better for customers. Anna is truly a great asset along with all the other wonderful staff that work so hard to please all their customers.

This is the worst place ever to buy cosmetics. I have been wearing Merle Norman since I was 16. They cater only to the teenagers with prom dress needs. I went there on MLK day and couldn't get anyone to wait on me. I went back a few weeks later and they said they would be with me shortly. I waited and they never came. I went back yet again and someone finally came over and said they would be with me when they could. I said let me ask you a quick question. I asked about a powder that they only had one of and it was on display. I told her I wanted it but since it was on display I wanted to open it and make sure that it had not been used......she went off on me and proceeded to tell me that I could not open it because one you opened it you only had a certain about of time to use it. WTF? She went back to the counter and I sat the powder down and walked out! I then drove 45 miles to Northgate Mall in Durham to the Merle Norman there. The people there are soooooo nice and treat you like a human. I ended up spending $200 there and will continue to shop at Merle Norman in Durham. I have spend a lot of money at the Merle Norman in Burlington but they have seen me for the last time. The Lady at Merle Norman in Durham even told me if I didn't have time to come into the Mall to call and tell her what I wanted and she would bring it out the back door to me. It doesn't get any better than that!!!!!
