OMG.... this place freakin' ROCKS!!! First of all, let me start by stating my in-laws are the owner-operators of a mexican restaurant in Santa Barbara that has been featured and reviewed by major publications accross the country for their authentic, and excellent Mexican food, so I am no stranger to good Mexican cuisine, All I can say is this place is my new favorite mexican restaurant!!! The Margaritas, excellent, Guacamole, ranks right up there with mine (hehe, my guac is AWESOME!!!). Everything my wife and I had was shockingly good. We didn't expect much walking in; in fact, we found it by accident, but we left feeling like we had found a gem. Even the service was fast and friendly! On a side note, the servings are NOT small, so go ahead and share.., which leaves more room for margaritas, HELL YEAH!!!

I don't know what the problem is here because the Hola in Belmont is delicious down to the salsa and margaritas. But the Burlingame location is a totally different story the salsa is as flavorful as a shoe sole and the margaritas are so icy you would need a pipe to take a sip. The wait staff is abrupt and at times unattentive. The food I ordered tasted bland, but I am not the type to not give a second chance so I tried it again and it almost seemed worst the last time. I gave it two stars because I think it is a great meeting place for drinks with friends after work or a starting place; just make sure to avoid the salsa and order the marg on the rocks to avoid major brain freeze. Eat at your own risk.

Service was inept, disorganized and slow. Food is good but in no way worth the wait and hassle. Would not send my worst enemy.

It is truly the most unique Mexican Restaurant on the Peninsula. We enjoy the atmosphere, the service is great when not crowded and the food is super delicious... we especially enjoy ordering the ""Nachos Mexicanos,"" it is to die for.

Wonderful atmosphere. Food is fabulous, affordable. The crab enchiladas are to die for! The fresh peach cake is heaven. The staff is busy, and sometimes a little slow, but extremely friendly!! If its crowded you know its good! If you have to wait an extra few minutes for anything, its worth it!

This is the best Mexican restaurant on the peninsula (that I've found anyway). The food is great and they make great margaritas. I have nothing but good experiences here. One bad thing, it is usually really busy so the waiters are not very attentive.
