The El Concilio of San Mateo County is a nonprofit group of various organizations and individuals that offers a variety of educational, employment and health care opportunities for Latin community in the United States. The organization provides several outreach programs for spreading awareness about AIDS, tobacco consumption, chemical dependencies and diabetes. Founded in 1980, it also operates the Promotor Education and Employment Project and the Multi-Cultural Community Health Educator Program for various individuals and families. The El Concilio of San Mateo County additionally offers physical education, emergency and telecommunications outreach services. In addition, the organization supplies incubators to several health care organizations. The El Concilio of San Mateo County is located in Burlingame, Calif.
