General Info

A part of the Public Works Department, the Street Division offers sewer system maintenance and potholes and street debris removal services. The division also provides storm drain inlets and catch basins repair services. The Public Works Department maintains a computer program that identifies and divides streets into workable sections for improvements. It uses historical data, traffic volume and roadway section to estimate the conditions of roadways. The department employs engineers who handle concrete repair problems. It provides tree root removal services to solve alignment and premature concrete replacement problems. The department is a part of the City of Burlingame, Calif.
