Overall
Nice place for the kids

I recently accompanied my 8 year old niece on her field trip to the museum, and actually found it a very nice place. They had a lot of activities for kids and the exhibits were very nice. I especially enjoyed the Egyptian exhibit, which I thought was better than most of the exhibits in the actual Cairo museum.

I recommend this museum to anyone with kids, looking for something to do on a rainy afternoon : )
