Panacea Pet Resort

Unfortunately there staff is inept they leave dogs unattended to get attacked and wounded by other dogs then they lie about when it happened or that it happened at all. friend was told it was sore (um dog was at the vet aday before there stay at this place) obviously a deep puncture wound....they washed and cleaned the dog causing a major infection never .They were told no baths on the entry, they never even called to say hey your dog blah blah blah.. .facility washed there beds too how pacular wonder if it was because it was bloody.??? ..BET THEY NEVER GUESSED THE FIELD WE WERE IN??? IVE BEEN A GROOMER FOR OVER 25 YRS I KNOW A DOG BITE WHEN I SEE ONE.think twice folks.....

I am a local Firefighter/Paramedic. My wife is a traveling nurse. This means that when she is on assignment and I am on duty I need to place my dog in boarding for 24 to 48 hours at a time while I work. I looked around online and Panacea had only one negative review and it was from someone upset that Panacea Pet Resort would not take their dog without vaccination records. That is a positive statement in my book! It means Panacea Pet Resort cares about the health of their client's dogs. I called my vet at All County Animal Hospital and asked their opinion. I found out that she and all her staff use Panacea Pet Resort too. I asked for a walk through of the facility prior to boarding my dog. There was no hesitation. I was allowed to walk through as soon as I asked. It is well maintained and clean.

I have now been using Panacea Pet Resort to care for Rosco for over eight months. This review is long overdue. They have treated him so well that when I drop him off he runs inside excited to be there. When I pick him up he runs up to me, bounces off me to say hi and then runs over to Barbara to get his kisses and petting before he will go. My dog's behavior tells me that he is treated well or he wouldn't be so excited to go. He knows when I put on my uniform he is going to the resort. He is so excited he won't eat his breakfast which means that they have the added work of feeding him every day, yet I have never heard a complaint about that. They simply ask if he ate before he came over.

I have even gone away for a two week motorcycle trip and left him there for the two weeks. He still had the same behavior of being excited to go the next time I dropped him off.

I cannot say enough good things about how well Rosco has been treated and how easy Panacea Pet Resort is to deal with. If they don't answer the phone because they are busy with the dogs, leave a voice mail or drop an email and it will be promptly answered.

We have been leaving our 5lb. dog Angel at Panacea for the past couple of years when we travel. She always has a good time and comes home happy and healthy. Last week we were on a trip out of state and received a call that Angel(13 years old) was not her self and the owners were very worried about her.They took her to our vet and had her checked out and treated and returned to pick her up later that day. They took her into their home so that they could keep a close eye on her and give her the medicine prescribed for her. Needless to say, I was very worried, they kept me updated and even sent me pictures to make me feel better. She took a turn for the worse a couple of days later on Friday afternoon, they rushed her to the vet again and I believe saved her life because of their love and concern. She received the treatment she needed and they took her home and gave her the best care and love possible. Thanks to the TLC Angel received in our absence she is getting better every day.

With owning two dogs we were very firm on the boarding of our pets,Panacea went out of their way to make Sugar and Lacey"s stay was safe,clean and happy place.We recently lost Sugar which we had for 11 years,so Lacey a 7 pound Maltese Yorky was left alone to board,Claire and Barbara and Roger,made sure she was loved and made sure she was not alone in a strange place.We feel so comforted knowing Lacey will be in good hands..

As much as my husband and I love this place, our 2 dogs, Mattie and Emma, and cat, Roxie, LOVE it even more. Team Owen are the absolute best when it comes to taking wonderful care of our pets. The facility is spotless, hours of operation extremely convenient, and they even offer a pick up and delivery service. In addition, to boarding our pets go to Panacea for grooming and come home looking terrific. The staff is professional, very friendly, and obviously love animals which is evident in their treatment of their "guests". We've left various pets at a lot of kennels and vets over the years and Panacea is the best we've found. We highly recommend Panacea if you're looking for a "home away from home" for your pets.

I have a very sensitive standard poodle who has never done good with boarding until I found Panacea pet resort. The owners are fantastic! Very kind people who really care about your pet. They go above and beyond for there guests and owners. You can tell that they really care about the animals and I think the animals feel safe and happy with them. They get plenty of exercise and socialization which is probably why the animals like it. I did a daycare visit before we left him overnight which I think made it easier for my dog. I highly recommend this facility!

We've been taking Hans, Gretchen, and Monty for their "vacations" at Panacea since the Owens family opened, and have never been disappointed. They treat our little ones like their own family - spoiling them appropriately - and the gang always comes home with tails wagging. Their friends at Panacea go above and beyond to make sure it is safe and comfortable our pets, and convenient for us. They even offer a "shuttle service" to and from home! I don't know of any other place that offers this.



We feel completely at ease leaving our pets at Panacea - absolutely no guilt, and that's a first. We've always felt guilty going on vacation before, because we haven't been absolutely, positively, completely certain our pets were being cared for like we would care for them. But here, we know they are given the royal treatment, and they're enjoying themselves on their "vacation". So we are free to enjoy ours!

Simply The Best!!! Panacea Pet Resort is a wonderful place for our 70lb. puppy (Bear). The resort is always immaculate, Claire and her family take such GREAT care of our dog. Always friendly and willing to help. We are so happy we found them.

WE HAD TAKEN OUR 2 GOLDEN DOODLES TO PANACEA FOR THE WEEKEND, THEY HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME I DON'T THINK THEY WANTED TO LEAVE. THE STAFF IS EXCELLANT. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ON HOW GREAT THEY ARE. THE FACILITY IS CLEAN, ROOMY, AND AIR-CONDITIONED. PRICING IS REASONABLE. AND THE HOURS ARE GREAT. YOU CAN GO ANYTIME WITHIN REASON TO DROP OFF AND PICK-UP. NO SET HOURS OF OPERATION. I WOULD GIVE THIS RESORT A THUMBS UP.

I have had Miss Daisy ( boxer) at Panacea on 3 different occasions the most recent just last week. She just loves it there and "almost" doesn't want to leave! You couldn't find a better kennel for your furry friends! The hours and service are worthy of 5+ stars

We left our big puppy Cody (50 + lbs) at Panacea while we were on an 8-day vacation. We were able to call anytime we wanted to check on him (which was really no need because every time I did it sounded like he was having a wonderful time). The facility is very clean, cost of the stay was very good, and the staff (Claire, Barbara and Roger) was wonderful with our dog. When we picked Cody up you could tell that he was taken well care of. He was very happy, smelled wonderful and he did not want to leave he was having so much fun. We also received a few pics of Cody during his stay. I would definitely recommend Panacea Pet Resort.

The kennel was exceptionally clean, well stocked, and obviously set up to pamper the animals. We left our 2 dogs and 1 cat for a 2 week stay and it certainly agreed with them. It's wonderful to have such a great place, with terrific availability, and very reasonable rates. Add to that the warm, caring, and flexibility of the owners and you have a combination that's hard to beat. Our pets are already booked for 2 more stays this year.

WOW what nice kennels and people to take care of anyones animals!!!!!!! My family and i were so glad to have found this wonderful place for our dogs Ace and Sparkey they seemed to be so happy right away. We had a better vacation knowing they were in good hands. They were so clean and smelled and looked so good when we picked them up.Also we got pictures i will always treasure from the kennel.We will definetly bring our pets there again! thank you all for taking such good care of our dogs!!!!

My husband and I boarded our Border Collie, Maggie at Panacea for a week while we vacationed in Sarasota. Maggie, we believe had a better vacation than we did! She did not want to leave when we came by to pick her up on our way back to our home in VA! Maggie was bathed and pampered and even had her picture taken while at Panacea. She just didn't want to say bye to Barbara when the day came to go home. We definitely recommend this kennel for boarding- the family is very friendly, conscientious, and keep their facility very clean.

We have just returned from a relaxing vacation and it would appear our doggy has too. We checked him in to Panacea and he was a little nervous as he doesn't like strangers. However, when we collected him he was a bundle of energy and maybe a little reluctant to leave! So, thank you all at Panacea - Jack (our pooch) will definitely be visiting with you again when we next vacation. Beautifully clean and plenty of run space with a family feel - Panacea is a delight. We were lucky enough to find Panacea Pet Resort while on vacation in Florida. We needed a 2 night stay at the last minute for our big boy "Becker", all 135 pounds of him........and we were so happy with the care he received. We felt like family the moment we arrived to drop him off. Becker did very well and I wish we lived closer (we live in Maryland), so we could use them on a regular basis. I would highly recommend them and hope to some day in the future use them again!

Put my dog in there while went on holiday and they clearly looked after my dog very well,

They had 3 people looking after Barney and he had a bath and smelled lovely when we picked him up.

Kennels were air conditioned and very clean and they said they take the dogs out from 6am-9pm so they are not cooped up in the kennels all day.

I would certainly recommend them and will be using them again!
