Our property insurance company decided that our concrete sidewalk was a trip hazard and required us to get it leveled out. Tahir came, we talked, and today Tahir and his team repaired it, enlarging our 2 tree beds as well. They did a really beautiful job. Worked neatly, added topsoil and mulch to the renewed tree beds and even rinsed down the cars nearby which got dusty from the cement work. It was reasonably priced and I will definitely use them for future needs. Highly recommended.

They are a bunch of unprofessional rude a**holses. They know nothing about construction or safety. They work 15 minutes in every hour only, and spend the rest of it talking on the phone and singing songs in Arabic. They were peeping in people's windows and perving on my girlfriend, when were caught doing so, even had the nerve to wave to her. They create unholy amounts of dust and noise and refuse to clean up after themselves. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT take your business there.

I have used Glenwood Construction in the past for water coming into the house from the roof causing major damage. Tahir and his crew located the problem immediately and gave me fair pricing. I have not had a problem since. This year, I did not hesitate to contact them again for the cosmetic beautification of my backyard. They are knowledgeable and experienced tradesmen who show up on time with no hidden surprises. Great prices for excellent quality!

Our sidewalk had a serious situation. We reviewed several companies and chose Glenwood Construction. We contacted Tahir and he came that afternoon. He spent time explaining to us what had to be done and spent time answering any questions we had. The workers came on time, knew what had to be done and began working immediately. Before they left the job site they made sure the site was clean, they even cleaned the wrought iron fence of cement splatter that appeared during the pouring of the cement.

Tahir called us while the men were working to see if we were satisfied with how the work was proceeding. After the work was completed he called again asking if we were satisfied with the work and told us how to care for the new sidewalk.

We are more than satisfied with Tahir, the workers and Glenwood Construction Company.

We have been using Glenwood Construction for eight years.Tahir and his company have always done a great job. This past summer, they made my dilapitated yard into an outdoor living space. From new concrete,fence and water proofing my house. Fabulous job!

Glenwood Construction is a keeper! Tahir is a very affable and professional young man. They did a lot of work for us and most recently did our sidewalk. They showed up on time, did a superb job and by the end of the day, the site was clean and beautiful. It is not easy to find good , honest contractors now a days , Glenwood Construction is one of the few.

I recently contracted Glenwood Construction for a major renovation to the exterior (front) of my home. A quick summary...the best choice I could have made! It was absolutely a pleasure working with Tahir in the planning and designing of the renovation. Everyone from the masons to the carpenters were excellent! From the very start, you could see the communication, promptness, flexibility and attention to detail would (and was) great.

Made an appointment. They didn't show. Called few hours after appointment time to ask what I needed done? Just wasted my time

I googled for roofing companies near Forest hills , Queens. I saw reviews for Glenwood and called Glenwood Construction on 12/07/2013 around 9:30, A gentlemen by the name of Tahir answered the phone. Made a commitment to showing up between 2-3 PM same day. His crew was right on time, they went straight to work , identified the problem on the roof, located the leak and resolved the issue by putting flashing. After payment the lead person fixing the problem, I called Tahir to follow up to ensure that they stand by their work. I was very impressed . I was assured by Tahir that he stand by his work and he told me to call back if there was any problems. I would recommend this company,

update : 12/09---- I still found water coming into my bedroom. Called Tahir after hours ( around 8:00 PM) he was very professional, pick up the phone after hours, told me he will talk to his staff and have somebody at my house on Wednesday 11/11 as tomorrow is a snow day.... After looking into the problem on my end , i found out that it was not the roof but the pipe inside my bedroom had a bad connection....Glenwood did the right thing by sealing the nails on my roof .... I must say that Glenwood stands behind their work and i will definitely do business with them again. God bless people like Tahir who inspite of running a business in an industry that is not reliable for the most part, address the customers needs and stand behind their work.

My wife and I have been very happy with Glenwood's work. From start to finish Tahir and his crew were professional and clean and did excellent work. Glenwood has been responsive every time we call or email and they are very flexible scheduling around my and my wife's work schedules. We would definitely hire them again.

Glenwood construction provides excellent work at reasonable prices in a timely manner! I would recommend this company to any with roofing problems...big or small!!!!!!

Drip, drip, drip... This was my experience one week after hurricane Irene. I had a leak in my bedroom ceiling. I called Glenwood Construction at 5:15 pm, and was shocked that somebody actually answered the phone. It was Tahir on his way home after a full day of work. After hearing my story about this active leak, he quickly assured me that he was on his way to try to stop this leak. He was at my house within one hour... Needless to say, during that first phone call, I hired Glenwood Construction to do whatever work that was needed to repair my roof.



What was interesting about this experience is that fact that I had never heard about Glenwood Construction. I was a complete stranger to Tahir and during that first phone call he made me feel as if I was family. His assuring voice during this daunting experience was priceless. I really can't say enough kind words about him.



In conclusion, Tahir and his crew put a new roof on my house within the week. They did an excellent job and were very professional. Also, Tahir did do many extras while on the roof, stuff that he saw needed to be taken care of that I was not aware of and work that I was aware of and asked him to take care of. More importantly, he did not penny pinch me for the extras that did take time and others would have charged me for. All I can say is that I highly recommend Glennwood Construction. And I am truly blessed to have found this company.

Tahir is a capable, efficient, and honorable contractor. We hired Glenwood to fix our garage and townhouse roof, and to do some repointing of bricks and patio slates. Tahir was friendly and responsive from the beginning to the end of the project.



The work was quick, clean, and solid. When we noticed one minor problem (which turned out to be the fault of our drain more than of the garage roof work), Tahir came back and did an incredibly thorough job of investigating, cleaned out the drain, and patched extra areas just in case.



We are 100% satisfied with his work, blown away by his work ethic, and certain to call him again for future projects.

Tahir and Tony are gentlemen amongst thieves. They were prompt and very professional. I believe I received a fair price for the repair. After the repair was completed, a soaking rain arrived a few days later. I checked for the leak from the roof, NOT A DRIP! I highly recommend them and I will be sure to use them again in the future.
