Orange County Indoor Shooting Range

Contrary to the incredibly long negative review of this place, it is a fine business with knowledgeable staff. I was new to firearms and spent many trips using their rental service.

They have a pretty good selection of all sorts to try out and practice with before making a purchase on literally the other side of the store. Some are old and some have more than their fair share of usage but its a few bucks and it's a rental. What more do you want?How many stores or businesses can say hey before you buy this why not try it out 5 feet that way for a few bucks and some ammo.

If you have questions about your rental the staff, if not busy with other customers, will step by step breakdown each function of the firearm. This is fantastic if you're new to handguns like I was and don't wish to look like a retard trying to hump a doorknob out on the range.

I highly recommend this place.

Good price, clean range, nice shop, staff seemed nice, but had no sense of urgency, there was a line even though they were not very busy.

If there is a Zero Star Review, I will give a Zero Star Review for this place! Why? Let me tell you what was my bad experience with them! couple months ago, before I went there, I am like a normal people who always do some research for the place I would go to. I notice on Yelp and other resource about this Orange County Indoor Range, they have a lot of bad review of un-match description on their own website (such as the place is Small, the shooting spot between each other are tied, the staff who works there is not helping customer, and the place is old and messy). But anyway, This place is very close to my home, So I decided to give a try. Then First time I went there, the shooting spots are very close to each other. But since there is only a few people were there, it doesn't matter anymore. and the Store is not really too old, it is just ok. And the staffs whoever works there is ok as well, they did teach me some instruction about how to operate the gun, and also advise me some safty instruction of shooting, then I always follow. So I think this place is ok to go and plus it is really close to the place I live. Then after that, I started to bring my clients whoever travel to California who want to enjoy the fun of shooting experience to this place. I never bought their annual membership, Just pay cash every single time. I spend at least 2000 dollars for the pass a few months at this place. Never give them any trouble, whatever they told me to do I follow. I also tell the friends I brought to this place to follow all their rule. Unfortunately, they were completely disappointed me Last weekend. One of their staff (he looks like a Philipino), he perform a very un-professional way to treat the customer. What he did is completely treat customer with a respected attitude! ( I can feel his racist and threaten tone). First, I don't know what I did, or what my friends did. But we did follow the rule which the store told us to do.

Maybe there was something wrong with us. And I will not be very appreciated and opened if you tell me my mistake. ( I am the type of person who like to follow the rule and who want to learn the right way to perform anything). But for the person whoever treat me un-respected , I wont talk to him anymore, not even spending time to argue face to face. But unfortunately, instead of gently point at or correct us our unknown mistake, he choose to offend and embarrassing us in front of the others customers with un-professional, un-respected, and racist conversation and plus the THREATEN TONE. Due to I was wearing "noise cancelling device, I couldn't catch the first part of the conversation regarding our mistake, but I did catch the very un-friendly conversation at the last part he said; it is " If I see you guys do it again, I promise you and your friends will not be allowed anymore at the end of day." I didn't argue with him at that moment, just gently said "OK" , because it doesn't matter any more. This was first time happen to me, but it will also be the FINAL TIME I played there. We really don't know what we did, ( we never point the guns to any other people, always gently move the target man, and unload and clear the gun before return etc), Never had any problem before!!!! But I can feel his unfriendly and racist tone when he was talking to us! Very un-professional perform! Maybe he didn't care his boss lose the customer, as long as the boss he pays him and the boss doesn't know how he talks to the customer. but his kind of person need to be terminated the job immediately, I will report to every where regarding this place of bad quality customer service. Plus I complain to their customer service email, but nobody reply to me. Anyway, if you have the same experience with them~ please do what I do, report and share , let the other people know!
