Blackbird

First time I have ever been to this place. I found the menu to be very limited, only about 8-10 selections, and all were priced VERY high. My bf and I ended up splitting a large chop salad with walnuts, goat cheese, and a light tangy dressing. It was very tasty, and fresh. We also then split the lasanga with sugo and bechemel sauce and some kind of meat (we think it was lamb sausage). It was very creamy, filling, appealing, and flavorful. Everyone at the table split the bread and olive oil/balsamic vinegar. The bread is made in-house, but they didn't even warm it up. We did have really good service, and our waitress was friendly. Blackbird has a nice atmosphere, and the restrooms were clean. I would not go back simply because of the high prices and small portions. I honestly don't recommend even trying it once - it was good, but you won't miss out on anything if you skip it.
