My friend and I arrived on the last flight into Bismarck expecting a pick up that had been arranged in advance. After waiting an hour no one showed, the airport was closing and thank heavens, Dakota Taxi answered their phone. Manny drove us the hour plus out to Standing Rock with incredible good humor at a ridiculous hour. We arranged our return trip to the airport with him, and he showed up game for the journey at 2:00 AM. His love for his Dakota landscape and his can-do attitude framed the trip with a surprising blessing. We were lucky to have been in his care.
