Great vet and staff! We use them for all four of our pets' healthcare and boarding services. They care about our pets and it shows in the attention they give to all their needs.

Overall

This is an amazing place. We have taken our pets to Acosta for many years for checkups, miscellaneous ailments and boarding. The clinic is extremely clean, and the staff really cares about our pets. They remember this names and even remember little things about them. This kind and loving treatment is why our dog literally "cannot wait" to go to the vet when he senses that he might be able to go. He knows when we are packing a bag that it means he may get to go to Acosta. He runs to jump in the car and is excited to run into the door at the clinic as soon as we arrive. We have recommended them to several families who all have had the same experience.

Overall

Awful took in a sick dog after 5 days on meds a little better then sick again. Took her back prescribed same meds after 3 days sick again. Took to another get different meds for a 21 days in conjunction with old meds dog was better. Took other dog had his nails clipped wouldn't let groomer touch him. Took him to their groomer that was suppose to be able to groom dogs that are hard to groom. Sent him back ungroomed with bloody paw. Bled all over carpet before o noticed. Called to complain to I'm sorry. I found them to be rude from 1st visit. Won't be taking either dog back. Should have never switched vets only did because the heart guard was cheaper. Bad mistake.

Overall
Ignores dogs

They may provide good vet services, but they are absolute crap when it comes to running a doggie daycare. They allow the dogs to bark outside for hours and disturb the residents of the Lexington Apartments right behind them. The dogs sound stressed out and in need of attention. Do yourself a favor and find a daycare that will not act like a rude neighbor that just throws their dog outside and ignores their cries without thought to anyone else around them.

Also, they're breaking city ordinances.

Sec. 4-1-2. - Control and protection of animals in general.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to:

(5)

Keep or harbor any animal which, by loud, frequent or habitual barking, howling, yelping or other noise or action, disturbs any person or neighborhood within the corporate limits of the city;

Can't say enough great things about Dr. Acosta and her loving and caring staff!!!!! I have been using her since I moved from Michigan in 2007 and I have never found a more caring and compassionate person. Her and her staff treat every animal that come in her building like it was their own and go above and beyond for both patient and owner. My furry children and I can't say enough how much WE LOVE DR ACOSTA!!!!!
