There have been some recent concerns in the media regarding the safety of BPA-containing dental materials. Although the tests show different conclusions, Dr. Stefanie has opted to provide BPA-free alternatives to those who would like this option.

Fillings
We are a mercury-free office which means we do not place amalgam fillings. Often referred to as "silver fillings", amalgam dental restorations consist of mercury, silver, tin, copper, and zinc. Mercury is a toxic heavy metal, and even small amounts can damage cells. Dr. Stefanie will safely remove these fillings when needed, and we use a highly specialized pump/evacuation filtration system which ensures the safe disposal of this hazardous material so it will not enter our water supply. Veneers
Veneers are thin, durable, custom-made porcelain facings that are created by our master ceramists and bonded to the front of unsightly teeth. They are meticulously hand crafted from tooth-colored, high-tech materials to portray a natural, bright smile.

I went on to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, receiving my DDS degree in the top 10% of my class. I was then accepted into the Advanced Dental Residency program at UCLA where I received an advanced degree in cosmetic, reconstructive and implant dentistry. Upon completion of this residency, I practiced as an associate dentist for over 6 years with top aesthetic dentists in Beverly Hills. I have now realized my ultimate dream of opening my own dental practice. I strive to embody the dentists that I grew up admiring and being treated by.
