It serves the electrical construction industry in the United States. The association offers advocacy, education, research and standards development services. The National Electrical Contractors Association provides the design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems. It offers educational programs, trade shows and management training solutions. The association offers a variety of services related to fiber-optic materials, telecommunication and wireless networks. The National Electrical Contractors Association s local chapter managers negotiate and administer labor agreements with local unions of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. It operates more than 110 chapters that are independently chartered organizations that serve member contractors in their area.
