I stayed at this hotel on 08/19/2015. The hotel doesn't meet my low expectation. The room ahs strange smell. The towels and linens are very old and have stain. The sink is out of order. All exercise machines in the fitness room are broken. The breakfast food selection is limited and food bins are empty. The owner/operator of this hotel is cheap. They only want to take the money from customer, but doesn't want to spend the money to provide proper service.

On 3/21/2009 I had car trouble and was stranded on Hwy 12 & 18 about 2 miles from the Clarion Suites Hotel. I walked in the front door & asked if I could call a cab because I was having car trouble. Kyra was working the front desk, she said the phone was only for paying customers. She asked if I had a cell phone, I told her the battery was dead ( I had called for a cab - but after being on hold for about 5 minutes the battery died ).She gave me the impression that she didn't believe me ! ? I offered to give her money for the phone call, she reluctantly made the call for me. After the call I was tired, thirsty and asked to use the bathroom. She again said the bathroom was only for paying customers. I guess common courtesies are out of the question ! Maybe this attitude comes from the management ? Maybe they have some kind of problems from the neighborhood ? In any event I can not refer this hotel based on the treatment and indifference that I observed. Mike
