        Matthew J. Landfried, MD is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who joined the practice as a partner in 1990. He received his MD from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children and Hamot Medical Center both in Erie, PA. He is a member of the AMA, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, NYS Medical Society and WNY Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Landfried is on the medical staff at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, NY where he is Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery and Chairman of the Department of Surgery. Dr. Matthew J. Landfried has been identified by US News & World Report, as one of the nation’s best orthopedic surgeons, based on a peer nomination process.         Always listens to me and explains everything so I can understand

        Dr. Lanfried is great. He always listens to my concerns and takes them seriously and expands on them so that we can find the proper treatment. He explains everything in terms that I can understand and answers any questions I have. The office staff is friendly and helpful, always get me in for an appointment quickly.

        Amazing Dr!!

        I have been a patient since 2003 because of a work injury, and several other orthopedic problems. Dr. Landfried has put me back together everytime!
        I highly recommend him because he is a very thorough and informs me what he needs to do to fix it! Great bedside manner.

        Fantastic Office and Staff

        I have been a patient for a very long time, and I am very pleased with the care that I receive not only from the doctor but the staff as well. They always seem to help you to make the best out of a bad situation and always help you through whatever it is your dealing with. The doctor and staff are very concerned about your well being and try to get your issues resolved in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Dr. Landfried and his office to give you the care that you need and deserve.
