I have two teacup Maltese and they both received horrible haircuts. First time there and definitely won't be back!!! $85 for both and all they got was a tattered up piece up cloth around their necks!!! Their ears were cut unevenly and both dogs legs had been literally scalped!!!! I'd post pictures if I could! Not to mention the poor customer service! Hope people will see this review and think twice before taking their dogs to this establishment. She wouldn't even let me see the dogs first before having me pay. Called and told me they were done and then had me waiting in the lobby for twenty minutes while the groomer finished up the dog while talking to the owner...very unorganized!!!

Never have I had an experience with an owner of a business like I had today. I called earlier in the week for an appointment to have my dog bathed and trimmed, I have used this groomer for years, the little lady in the wheelchair knows me, I have talked to her many times and we always chat when I am in there, When I arrived, they didn't have my appointment on the books, after some confusion over it, the owner of the shop asked me who I talked to when I called in, I told her, she asked the girl if that was true and the girl said no. I was a little irritated and I said "no, she is the one I spoke to, I have spoken to her many times on the phone and I know she is the one I spoke to" Instantly the owner said that I didn't need to call her a liar!! My intention was to indicate that simply an error had been made, but, her attack on me tells me she thought that "I" was a liar. Too bad and the loss of us doing business with them ever again! Sad!

My parents take their dog to Wagg'n Tails. Here recently, my mom has been very ill and my dad just had a knee replacement surgery. The owner offered to pick up and drop off their dog for them. This place has heart and character. Thank you for taking such great care of my parents and their dog. God Bless!

I brought my two dogs in for grooming. One haircut, one just a bath. Both dogs came out looking and smelling good, better than what I expected. What impressed me most is that the groomer noticed my 2 y/o daughter having a hard time leaving the dogs. When we picked up the dogs, they had a Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse bandana on the dogs and gave her an Easter egg with candy when we came to pick up. She said they try to keep bandanas that little kids would appreciate so that the kids are excited to let their dogs stay with them. I've never had such great service. They made my dogs feel welcome, and went above and beyond to treat the owners nice as well. I'll be telling everyone to go here.

I just moved to the area and was told about a groomer in my hometown (no names mentioned) and I hated the haircuts. I have 3 yorkies, a shih Tzu, and a bichon/poodle type mix. One of my yorkies is a handful and has been kicked out of grooming places before. My bichon never looks like he's supposed to and finally I decided I need to lower my standards. My neighbor told me about Amber and Brooke and her dog always looks cute, so I decided to try them out. What a blessing! They took the time to make all of my babies feel comfortable and FINALLY I got the cuts I wanted. The girls listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly! I won't go anywhere else. And I love, love, LOVE the receptionist. You won't meet a sweeter girl. Don't lower your standards- Try these girls!

I bring my dogs to Wagg'n Tails and would never go anywhere else. The staff is so friendly, the boutique and salon are always clean and the place smells wonderful. I know they treat my dogs with fantastic care because my dogs are always excited to go and at pick up they're happy to see me, but still want to tell everyone there goodbye. My dogs smell WONDERFUL and look exceptional. I have a poodle and a Labrador and they have never looked better from any other grooming place I have been to, and I have been to a lot. You have to try this place! Amber is so patient with the "challenging" dogs (like my rescue lab), Lindsey is the sweetest thing you'll ever meet and so helpful, and Brooke is an awesome stylist for my poodle. After reading these reviews, I have to say the majority are true. But the negative ones I have a hard time believing. None of the girls up there have a rude impatient attitude and I sure as heck know that none of the girls would EVER be rude or mean to a pet. I am a small business owner, and I want to say two things. One- Many are unaware that small business owners have to pay about $200/month just to accept your credit card. No one complains about the DMV or schools charging a convenience fee to help cover some of that cost. These girls aren't making money off the $2 service charge. This place does more for charities than any other place I have seen donating time, space, money, goods... Does that sound like a greedy company? Secondly, the owner of this spa does give "maintenance" discounts if you bring your dog in every 4-6 weeks. At 4 weeks Lindsey calls to remind you of this, giving you 3 whole weeks to schedule your appointment. It's nice of these girls t give such a discount when other places don't. If you ask me, most of these negative comments seem like they're coming from the kind of people who only care about themselves or want something free. I tell these girls all them time they should charge way more than what they do for their excellent services. I'm just glad I don't have to put up with ungrateful people like the ones with the negative remarks. Don't listen to them, give this place a shot and you'll see why they really are the best!

I find the review by Sarah M to be inaccurate. They have only been open for two years, there are signs at the check in counter and register about the credit card fee (I just took my dog in today and checked to see if they were still there). Their prices are great and under what I paid at PetSmart for my 3 dogs PLUS they give discounts where other places don't. I would never go anywhere else. My dogs are treated like royalty, the salon is always clean, and the staff is so friendly to my dogs and myself. I have the same kind of relationship with my groomers as I do my own hair stylist, and above all, they are honest hard working girls. Of course your dog looked good, they take their time and know what they're doing. Before you judge someone and insinuate they're lining their pockets- how about you actually get to know the person.

I absolutely will NOT be back!! I took my dog here because PetsMart was full until late next month :( . I DO commend them for having an employee with disabilities!! HOWEVER I found this place by referral from a neighbor and she said she wouldn't be going back because of poor customer loyalty (there's some discount for repeat customers if you book appointments within 6 weeks of each other. My neighbor's been going there for over 5 years and this was her FIRST time booking longer than 6 weeks out... and it was an accident!). I won't be back because NO ONE told me when I made the appointment OR when I dropped my dog off OR when I called to see if she was ready to be picked up that they charge a $2 fee to process credit cards. I asked about running it debit since I have a debit card, an she said they didn't have the machine for that... then she pulls up the same debit/credit machine every other store has and charges me the fee! And I was a first time (and last time) customer!! They just have incredibly poor customer service policies. Assuming they're going these things because they're maybe "hurting" financially or just joining mainstream America and lining their pockets more, they're cutting their own throats by losing out on old and new customers. I paid almost twice as much as I would have at PetsMart too :( My dog looks good, at least..

Super awesome

Super clean, smells great, and decorated really cute. The staff is really friendly and seems to genuinely care about my dog. It takes a long time for my dog to get done being groomed but I know it's because they are taking their time to make sure he gets breaks and is safe and that the haircut looks awesome. I would recommend this place. Especially for dogs who have had bad experiences elsewhere.

I have read the reviews on this site. I am very disappointed to see the bad reviews given to Amber and her awesome young disabled girl on the front desk. You all should be ashamed of yourself for trying to blackball an innocent young person who has challenges every day that will may never have once in your lifetime. If this were your daughter or sister or best friend...you would cheer her on and give Amber the respect she deserves for helping this person feel productive and "normal" if you will. I have a disabled sister and I am here to say no matter how you feel you were treated unless you are on the other end of that line seeing the office and staff you have no right to write a bad review from a phone conversation. Walk in and see for yourself, then apologize publicly on this site for being so ignorant.. I only hope you never have to deal with a disabled family member...you may just lock them away so you don't have to deal with them... Thanks Amber you do a great job and don't worry about these people. The good news spreads better than the bad.

I LOVE this place! I just moved here and after reading the reviews, I thought this sounded like a great place for my dogs. Let me just say, the receptionist (Lindsey) is the SWEETEST! She was so good with answering my questions and helping me out (I'm a new small furry dog owner). She went above and beyond to help with my vaccines and even helped me chose a new vet. I was greeted by 3 of the gals there with a warm smile and hello. They took the time to learn what kind of haircut I wanted for my dogs, and didn't make me feel like I was wasting there time or an idiot for not knowing how to describe my ideas. When I came to pick up, I met Lindsey and knew by her smile and sweet voice exactly who she was. My dogs came out looking FANTASTIC and smelling wonderful. I asked if I could see where they kept the dogs, and Brooke took me on a full tour of the store. My babies were spoiled while they were with Wagg'n Tails. If you're looking for amazing, caring groomers- this is where you need to be. It saddened me to realize the last review was written about dear sweet Lindsey and that the one who wrote it obviously doesn't know these girls and probably never took the time to actually see this place and meet these girls. I knew I had to correct her wrong after my wonderful experience. Thank you ladies of Wagg'n Tails, keep doing EXACTLY what you are doing because you are truly making a difference in pets' lives.

FIRST impression :-(

I adopted my hospice patients dog and knew he had been taken here before for grooming. Well first impressions are everything and the one I got from my phone call there to ask some questions about getting him groomed again makes me contemplate if I'm even going to keep his appointment!! The girl who answered the phone sounded VERY young and had to ask someone else for the answer to my simple questions. She had no clue how to answer my questions which really were simple! The woman in the back ground was rude loud and came across to me as she sent have time to answer my questions through the other girl mind you and seemed to be bothered that I even called now today is 2-7-13 and there were NO openings until 2-16-13. After this experience I don't even know if I'm going to keep it!!

These girls are the best! My dog is a little nervous, and he loves Amber. She always treats him with love and respect--and me, too! I've been having Amber groom him for four years, I would not go anywhere else. He always comes home looking pampered and handsome! Beautiful shop, wonderful, caring staff.

I just wanted to say I heard a...

I just wanted to say I heard a groomer in the area was writing bad reviews on neighboring groomers. So I checked this immediately and noticed uncharacteristic reviews. Amber is amazing and has already done wonderful things for this community and the dog community overall. I know it's easy to get jealous, but it's sad that someone would try to ruin someone else's livelyhood. And the receptionist is a young disabled girl who is learning as she is new to this. I love the reminder calls she gives and her warm personality. If you have doubts about these girls, stop by and just say hi. They'll take you on an entire tour of the store with no room hidden, let you stay and watch grooms, or just sit and chat with you.

They did a fine job on my dog but i must say...the young lady I talked to when I called didn't seem able to answer ANY of my questions ...questions I would assume even a newbie would know...and presumed to ask a woman that was very snotty and annoyed at the question :/ turned me off a bit...it could've just been a bad time for her but ya know it turns you off to hear that, made me hesitant to ask anymore questions!

my dog is not an easy groom, have had trouble at the other local pet groomer. Brought my dog here, my dog and I met the groomer Amber. When I came back I was very happy with the cut and was told my dog was no problem. She made me at ease and I found a new groomer

Not impressed. Took my dog for a trim she was shaved to the skin. She was scared of the groomer. I was very unhappy. I even had to take my girl to the vet the same day as the groom due to the groomer getting something in her eye and scratching it.
