Whether you're looking for a cold beer and some horseshoes or some hot wings and even hotter glass blowing, this is the place for you! I found this place doing a websearch preparing for a family road trip to Baltimore and beleive me, we were totally floored. We stopped at the studio first to watch Tim McFadden give a beginner lesson in glass blowing to three Baltimore natives who had received it as a Christmas gift. I have to say it was amazing to watch him teach these three ladies who had never blown glass before work the medium. Even though it was hot and humid outside, and even hotter inside the converted garage that serves as Tim's workshop, we were so enthralled with the process, we stayed riveted to our bleecher seats watching them transform the glob of molten glass into many different things [vases, glasses, even pendants]. Once the lesson was over and we had a tour of the studio shop [also a highly recommended stop], we proceeded through the yard and into the Glass Grill. We were immediately greeted by Justin, who would be our waiter for the meal. He was friendly and courteous, almost as if he was welcoming family istead of four people he'd never seen before. The atmosphere inside was homey too ... except for the exceptional glass work on display inside. More of Tim's work, of course. Even the vessel sinks and soap dispensers in the rest rooms are Tim's creations. We were a party of four and each of us ordered different things - the bourbon glazed salmon, the fish and chips, the all you can eat spaghetti and meatballs and I had to have the ribs. We also got the sampler for an appetizer, featuring chicken tenders, wings, mozzarella sticks and [the best part] fried pickles. I can personally say that we made three more fried pickle fans today as the three others in my party had never had them before. Special orders or food allergies are not an issue at this place, all you have to do is ask and they will work around your needs. My grandmother reports that the fish and home made chips were the best she'd ever had and not at all greasy as this dish can sometimes be. My mom absolutely loved the bourbon glazed salmon and my dad found the first serving of the pasta, which arrived in an immense glass bowl with slices of garlic bread tucked around the edges, to be more than he could finish but still very tasty. I got the ribs and baked beans and I have to say I am duly impressed. I saw this place had been voted best ribs in the area and they truly deserve it. The meat was tender and flavorful and the sauce is spicy, tangy and just a little hot. Oh, and the apple crumb pie? Definately worth saving room for. This place is definately somewhere you should make time for. If you want to learn to blow glass, watch someone else do it or just sit at the bar and be social, this place is for you.

Holly crap, talk about atmosphere, the chandelliers in the dining rooms are insane!!! with a bunch of other sweet looking glass above the bar. Just stopped in for lunch and grabbed some wings and a beer. I took a gamble and went with the teriaki wings with a cucumber wasabi dipping sauce and was pleasantly suprised. Meaty wings with plenty of sauce. The bar tender was cool and the flat screens looked brand new. I'm definatly coming back for dinner and to check out the glass studio next door.
