Downtown Taxi Cab Inc

Cab #305 Maryland License plate 431 26B tried charge me $20 to go from Fells Point to Inner Harbor, which is maximum $10 ride. She would not turn on meter and told me rates were higher because of snow. After picking up her father, who brought two coffees, she told me to get out when I told her that was unethical to price gouge.

When I got to work, I called the company, and the dispatcher said he was sorry and would take care of it.

While, I greatly appreciate the dispatcher's attention. I have found cabs in Baltimore (in general) to be bad. So, most days I take Uber. Drivers are friendly; cars are clean; and fares are lower; and there is never a dispute about price or the use of credit cards.

Took a ride from work to home that costs me no more than $12. Yet tonight with no traffic & clear weather it cost me $21.40. Price gauge. Obviously the meter must have been tampered with for the huge difference. Won't be taking them again.

My first experience with the lady who answered the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. The cab driver was very friendly, and to was very knowledgeable about the city's history .Told us of some of the places we should visit while here in charm city. We carried on good conversations. He was a delite.we would recommend to anybody who needs a taxi to call downtown taxi

Friends have been encouraging me to use private phone controlled services but I have faithfully stayed with cab service. My experience with Downtown Taxi Saturday night (lied, grossly overcharged) has turned me to signing up with Uber. Thanks a lot you guys. I was trying to stick with you.

Horrible drivers!!!!! I witnessed one of their cab drivers abruptly swerve in and out of lanes nearly causing 2 accidents. He even drove on the wrong side of the road to get ahead of another driver that was already going 10mph over the limit!!!!! Unless you have a death wish, stay far away from this cab service.

This is an absolutely awful cab service. After leading us to believe he accepted credit, our cab driver later demanded cash. When we told him we only had credit he became extremely enraged and started insulting us. When we went in to an ATM to get money for the ride he proceeded to come into the store and start an altercation. He told us his driver number was 268, but I don't believe he was being truthful. Never use this cab service!

A driver threatened to take my life after he cut me off nearly hitting me.. After calling the cab company they said there is nothing they can do about it.. So a cab driver threatens to kill me and nothing is done. Nice company....

They are excellent. I work at the Inn at the Black Olive and one of our customers needed a cab for 8:30am. I called them at 8:29 and they were here in literally 3 minutes. Also the lady at the front desk or whoever answers the phone was very very nice :)



I will be calling them for now on instead of Raven Cab or Yellow/ Checker Cab
