Baltimore Taxi Cab

I was a cab driver and recently moved on to other means of work. I had the most disrespectful and threatening experience I've ever had with this taxi company. The driver was mean, verbally threatening, a complete liar, and tried to pad the meter by taking us way out of the way of our fare. He was wrong on all points. I nearly called the police. This is not good business, I'll never use this taxi company again.

Last night there were 3 of us in a cab and we dropped one person off at a gas station and he gave the cab driver 20 dollars for the rest of our trip (metered cost would have been around 17 dollars and the current meter read 8 dollars). A few moments later we asked the driver how much the cab ride would be (to see if we needed to ask for change) and the driver said around 25 dollars because we have to pay for the first guys 8 dollars and our 17 dollars. We immediately told the driver to pull over and let us out and give us our change up for the trip up till where we were. He gave us 3 dollars and we walked the 8 blocks home.



The tag on the cab was 444-059 and the cab number was 781.

The ad states that Baltimore Taxicab serves surrounding counties. This is against Public Service Commissions regulations. They can pick up in Baltimore City and take you to surrounding areas, but it is illegal to pick you up in any other jurisdiction. The BWI police will arrest the driver and you will be further dealyed. BWI is in Anne Arundel Co. If you are in Baltimore County call the largest fleet. See other ads .

The driver didn't know where he was going and did not use the gps until I asked where were we. I ended up paying 34 dollars for a trip home that I spent 26 dollars to get to originally from a different company. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I take taxicab to go to work and back every day. Baltimore Taxicab is the only one that has the right meter. It always costs me the same, unlike other cab companies in Baltimore City.

The taxi swayed all over the place when we hit a bump in the road. The seats stained my clothes. What are they thinking??!!

Taking a taxi from Baltimore city to BWI, it was supposed to be a 30 dollar flat rate. Instead the driver took me up interstate 83 all the way around the Baltimore Beltway, and the tamper Proof meter read $92.40. The driver spoke on the phone in a foreign language the whole time and cursed me when i questioned him, and locked me in the taxi until i had a police officer come over. Know where you are going before using this service.

The best cab company in Baltimore, freindly drivers, clean cab, especially the internal meter is tamper proof, therefore the drivers can not over charge the customers.
