We were halfway though the crosswalk at the Rosedale Walmart when he pulled out of the parking area of the garden department and flew past us almost hitting us rather than waiting for us to finish crossing. His license should be revoked.

I used Blue Star Taxi the last time I was in Bakersfield because they were prompt and had good rates and drivers. Always got the same guy who this time didn't come to pick me up. The owner was doing rounds, his name is Jeffrey, and I will never use Blue Star Taxi again. Made the call to get to my hotel and Jeff said he would be there in 20 minutes. Called back again in 10 minutes saying it will be another 15 minutes. That extra 15 and so odd minutes turned into me waiting an hour for the taxi. Since I expected to use them the whole weekend I never got any other numbers. Got in the car and he is smoking - NEVER an excuse! As a public service you should not smoke in a taxi with a customer! Then while driving his phone rings and he is reaching into the floor of the passenger seat to get his phone - not safe. After getting his phone he gets a personal call telling the person on the line about how he picked up her friend and that she was trashed, wasted, etc. All while doing this speeding through traffic as an erratic driver! Three strikes and you are out! Got a weak apology for being late when arriving to the hotel - but still charged me full price. Very dissatisfied.
