Gracy Woods I Nursing Center

My mom was a resident at Gracy Woods l and some of the staff members did not follow the guide lines for my mom . She is on a fluid restriction and the staff at night would give her fluids all through the night. She's also on a no sodium diet which salt was still put on her tray with her food which I had spoke with dietary about her fluids and sodium intake. They also need a new system as for delivering patient's food to the room. When the tray got to the room the food was cold and were told that if she ate in the dining room she would get served first and if you eat in your room you would be served last. My opinion they all should eat ate the same time or at least make sure the food is hot when it get to your room. Maybe hire extra help to work breakfast, lunch and dinner, to help make the trays and deliver them to the residents who do not go to the dining room to eat. The staff needs to know what the residents can and cannot have. I also think they could do more cleaning in the rooms. When I visited with my mother there were a couple of time I had to clean her bathroom and empty the trash cans and sweep. Some of the staff need more training to make sure each resident is getting what they suppose to have and not have.
