It was my experience that the Property Manager and Maintenance were Unprofessional, Unethical, Dishonest. Hostile and Abusive. DISTURBING LEYTERS BY MANAGER LEFT AT MY DOOR. left on a Wrongful Eviction by Property Manager. I found a SIZEABLE CREDIT on my account and the Manager attempted to cover it up numerous times Unsuccessfully. Professional on my behalf put this Manager and this Complex on a NO Referral list after viewing what the Manager gave to me in disbelief. The Manager and maintenance went in tenant apts when NO repairs requests were turned I , NO emergency, NO prior notice they needed to gain entry and NO notices left upon leaving. My apt was shown to TOTAL STRANGERS WITHOUT MY CONSENT while I was away by the Manager. I WASNT MOVING. Found out by the new tenant. I received a letter by this Manager in Nov. that reads "You have given notice to terminate your lease. Offering me $500 upon vacate on a 5 day deadline". PROBLEM-I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ACTIVE LEASE AND I NEVER GAVE NOTICE OF ANY KIND. When I asked for proof he had NO PROOF. He wrote upon request "This is proof your lease terminates in May. Your apt has been rented to someone else. It's also Unethical to get rid of a tenant because they don't like you. This occurred because of my uncovering of deception. Another note left at my door reads "I know you're having a hard time. New Tenants are paying $775. I have kept you at $725. If you can pay more during the coming year come tell me". I was again , In an ACTIVE LEASE and fighting cancer with complications. Lot of drugs, gas explosion. Death in the pool and a tenant shot a gun sending the bullet completely thru our unit to the otherside. This was an unsafe and unpleasant place to live. Car breakins, stolen license plates. Street people urinating on property, dirty laundry machines. The list goes on.

I do NOT recommend this complex. It is NOT a safe or pleasant place to live, There was a gas explosion, a death in the swimming pool. A tenant shot their gun that went across the walk way thru my studio where two of us resided and were home at the time with the bullet going across the room lodging in the closet. The Manager & Maintenance are rude, hostile & insulting. The Manager MISHANDLED MONEY PAID ON MY BEHALF that I uncovered then attempted to UNSUCCESSFULLY cover it up. Professional & physician's put Fountain Terrace on a NO REFERRAL LIST after they saw the disturbing letters & notes the Manager left at my door as if he hadn't done enough already. I had a CREDIT IN A SIZEABLE AMOUNT the Manager went to great lengths to cover up. The Manager accuses all his tenants are liars which only tells on the Manager. One letter I receive at my door by the MANAGER stated I, while in an existing lease. "You have expressed your intent to terminate your lease" I NEVER gave the Manager notice of termination and he'd give me a pay out of $500 upon vacate for moving expenses while in the same complex vacancies were all around me, From that time on I had to pay my rent by drpositing my rent check in Fountain Terraces bank account for my own protection. The police came out on his letter of intimidation to his tenant while in a lease. If the Manager hadn't done ANYTHING wrong why was he trying to get rid of his tenant in a lease and WHY WOULD ANY MANGER PAY ANY TENANT ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR THE TENANT TO MOVE. He then had his attorney draw up legal papers to hush me up and protect him ONLY. Need I say I REFUSED! The Manager's attorney sent me a number of letters of NO SUBSTANCE as I had not broken my lease. They were nothing but "nasty grams". I also received a note on my door from the Manager while IN AN ACTIVE LEASE "If you can pay more during the year come tell me" The Manager denied he left this note at my door and when I told him he did he decided he "didn't want that" so I gave him a copy of his own note. The Manager & Maintenance are nothing but POWER PLAYERS. The Manager & Maintenance do make illegal entries in tenant's apartments. This is a common occurrence. They go in tenant apartments who have put in NO repairs requests, NO emergency, No advance notices they need to gain entry and No notices left they have been in our units. The washing machines are dirty and/or broken. Street people urinating on property and sleeping under the stairs and in the upstairs laundry rooms. Close to CVS, Wheatsville, Breed's & bus stops. Repairs slow or not done at all. The Manager encourages tenants to "go in his office, we'll talk" and throws the same tenant out of his office. Tenants are verbally abused by Manager & Maintenance.
