        Joel began his career in New York City in the jewelry industry in the late 60’s. He earned his title of Graduate Gemologist from Gemological Institute of America in 1977. He has built a career of over 45 years in the retail jewelry business. Joel has worked with renowned companies such as Tiffany and Co. and Dayton and Co. in Ohio. Eventually, his love for horses brought him south to the Aiken-Augusta area where he moved his manufacturing business in 1990. Over the years, Joel expanded his business into several retail stores. He has now focused his attention to the ever-growing demand of estate and vintage jewelry. His business, The Estate Jewelry Center, located at 367 Highland Avenue, in Augusta, GA has grown tremendously. Joel began the business with one thing in mind – service of a by-gone era. With so many cookie-cutter jewelry stores, he felt that the jewelry industry had lost that one on one customer relationship. His goal is to change that.
