Established in 2002, the Thomas Eye Group is one of the earliest eye care organizations in Atlanta. Its staff of ophthalmologists, optometrists and opticians provides services for the protection, preservation and enhancement of eyesight. The organization offers various services, including eye examinations, plastic surgery, and treatment of glaucoma and retinal and corneal disorders. The Thomas Eye Group performs refractive surgery that helps to improve vision by correcting various errors, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. It also provides advice on the use of glasses and contact lenses. The organization additionally performs laser assisted in-situ keratomileusis surgery and maintains several facilities, including Decatur, Gwinnett, Newnan, Stockbridge and Woodstock, Ga.
