Thai Heaven

Untrained waitress. She topped off our water w sprite. Suggested nothing. Smudged silverware, cold broccoli but food was tasty. Take out next time.

I had really high hopes for a Thai restaurant so close to my home. The service was bad (she was very nice but obviously very new and unskilled. Please limit her tables to 2-4 people tops!) my husband and I had had the misfortune to be seated before her next table of 10x. When we finally got food (only me for 15 minutes) my soup not only wasn't spicy like I had requested but tasted nothing like my favorite Tom Yum that I have had many, many times at multiple restaurants. Long story short, too expensive for the terrible service and sub par Thai food. A few suggestions for Thai Heaven:

*train staff on what steps go first. No we don't want to order food BEFORE you've taken our drink order.

*it's a taboo to bring out one persons food WAY BEFORE their dining guest.

*never slam a new server with two tables back to back and one of them being one larger than she can handle ie: 10x people.

*if you do decide to give her more than she can handle, help the poor girl out when she is dying in the weeds like she was!

*if people decide to bring kids with them and then let them run around your restaurant, disturbing your other diners, you need to be able to ask politely that the kids stay seated at the table. If the kids aren't the "sitting" type, pop for a babysitter...sheesh...my husbands chair doubled as a jungle gym, lucky him!



In the end, my husband was too annoyed to eat his food. We ended up paying $60 for takeout food and our "date night" was ruined.

This by the way was NOT my first time there. The same thing happened at their Hapeville location too. I ordered takeout 20 minutes BEFORE I got there and still ended up waiting another 45 minutes before I got my food.



It had so much potential but my husband will never allow us to step foot in and spend another dollar in either location ever again.
